Award-winning artist, Don Reed brought his life-long passion for art to his home near Crossville, Tennessee when he created Crab Orchard Pottery in 2020. Don's hand-thrown pieces combine tradition and science. He spends his time researching old world and traditional pottery techniques, crafting innovative glazes made from locally sourced materials, and experimenting with different types of clay. Don constantly challenges himself to find innovative ways to bring his artistic vision to life.
